Luke McConnell is a Lecturer in the School of Media Arts, at Wintec, the Waikato Institute of Technology, in Hamilton, New Zealand. He is an emerging researcher with a focus on using 3D animation software and projectors to create and manipulate environments/spaces. His current work is around the idea of artificial and constructed realities within a space with a particular focus on light and shadows.
Luke studied and worked as a graphic designer but quickly became interested in 3D modelling and animation with a particular interest in how it could be used outside of common practise.
